Custom platform to Shopify.Stop maintaining your own.
An in-house store made sense when it was built. If the developers who wrote it have moved on and every change is a project, the platform is now the bottleneck.

The problem
What goes wrong leaving a custom platform.
The risks specific to this platform, not generic migration advice.
Nobody left knows how it works.
Bespoke platforms outlive the people who built them. Undocumented logic turns every small change into archaeology, and that is before anything breaks.
There is no export, only a database.
Custom builds rarely have a migration path out. We reverse-engineer the schema and extract through SQL or an API rather than waiting for a tool that does not exist.
URL structures are arbitrary.
Bespoke routing produces patterns no standard mapping anticipates. We crawl the live site to build the redirect map from what is actually indexed rather than from what the code suggests.
How it works
A migration you don't have to worry about.
Planned, staged and verified end to end.
Audit

Build
We rebuild your store on Shopify - matched or improved design - on a staging environment you can review.
Migrate
Products, customers, orders and content transfer across and get reconciled against the source, record by record.
Launch
We flip DNS at a low-traffic window, verify redirects and tracking live, and monitor rankings after.

Frequently Asked Questions
We have no documentation. Is that a problem?
It is normal, and it is why the audit comes first. We work from the database, the running code and a crawl of the live site, which between them tell us more than most documentation would have.
Can you migrate from an ERP-driven store?
Yes, and the integration usually matters more than the storefront. We map how products, stock and orders flow between your ERP and the store today, then rebuild that flow against Shopify's APIs so operations do not change shape on launch day.
How much downtime is there?
None that customers notice. We build and test everything on a staging store, then switch DNS during a low-traffic window. Your old store stays live until the new one is verified.
Our platform does something Shopify does not.
Sometimes true, and worth establishing early. We identify those rules during the audit and decide case by case between a Shopify app, a custom app we build, or a change to the process. You get that answer before committing to the migration, not during it.
Will we lose our Google rankings?
Not if it is done right. We build a complete 301 redirect map from your old URLs to the new ones and preserve your metadata and structure, so link equity carries over. We monitor rankings after launch.
Can you redesign while we migrate?
Absolutely. Many brands treat a migration as the moment to upgrade. We can replicate your current design or build a new conversion-first store as part of the move.
