The problem

Where UK Shopify stores lose money.

Three gaps we see most often in UK brands' stores.

01

Selling to Europe got complicated.

Since Brexit, EU orders carry import VAT and duties. Handled badly, they turn into surprise charges at the door and refused parcels. We set up Shopify Markets so taxes and duties are handled deliberately, not discovered on delivery.

02

Your agency answers tomorrow.

Teams eight hours from the UK reply the next morning, which turns a small launch-day fix into a lost day of sales. We're two hours ahead of London, so your working day is our working day.

03

The store looks good and doesn't sell.

A beautiful theme that ignores how UK shoppers actually buy - delivery costs up front, returns spelled out, familiar ways to pay - leaks orders every day. We build for conversion first, then test.

How it works

From audit to growth.

Planned up front, built in the open, and measured after launch.

01

Audit

We review your store, your data and your UK and EU setup - tax, shipping, payments and compliance - so the plan starts from what's actually there.

02

Build

We design and build on a staging store you can review, with UK delivery, payments and policies configured from the start.

03

Launch

We launch in a quiet window, check tracking and redirects live, and stay close for the first days in UK hours.

04

Grow

Once it's live, we test and improve what converts - so the store keeps getting better, not just older.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you based in the UK?

No, and we'd rather say so up front. Byteex Ltd is registered in Cyprus, and our team works two hours ahead of the UK all year round, so we overlap your entire working day - calls, launches and fixes all happen in UK hours. UK brands are our main focus.

Which UK carriers and payment options do you work with?

Royal Mail, Evri, DPD and others through Shopify's shipping settings and carrier apps, plus buy-now-pay-later providers such as Klarna and Clearpay alongside Shopify Payments.

Do you work with Shopify Plus brands?

Yes. Checkout extensibility, B2B, international expansion stores and enterprise migrations are covered on our Shopify Plus page for UK brands.

Do you handle UK VAT and selling into the EU?

Yes. We set up Shopify's tax settings for UK VAT, and Shopify Markets for selling into the EU, so EU customers see prices, taxes and duties handled deliberately rather than as a surprise on delivery.

What does UK consumer law mean for my store?

The Consumer Contracts Regulations give online shoppers a 14-day right to cancel, and UK GDPR with PECR requires consent before non-essential cookies. We build returns flows and cookie consent around both. We're not lawyers, so for anything beyond implementation we'll point you to one.

How do we get started?

Book a discovery call. We'll talk through your store, your goals and what's holding growth back, and tell you plainly whether we're the right fit.

See If We're a Fit

When you book a call, you're not speaking to a salesperson. You're speaking to the founders. Tell us where you're at, we'll tell you exactly what we'd do. No fluff, no pressure.
