Priority ERP Shopify integration
Stock, prices and orders move between Priority and your store with no double entry. We scope, build, test and maintain it - and you keep working in Priority as usual.

What syncs
What moves between Priority and Shopify
Every flow is scoped up front - what goes where, which way, and how often.
Products and variants
Parts in Priority (LOGPART) become Shopify products and variants by SKU. Name, description, barcode, weight and attributes - whatever you choose to manage in Priority.
Price lists
One price list for the store, or per-customer-group lists for B2B. Tax, currency and rounding are configured once.
Stock by warehouse
Balances from PARTBALANCE by warehouse map to Shopify locations. Sync one warehouse, several, or available stock after open orders.
Orders
Every Shopify order opens as a sales order in Priority: lines, discounts and coupons, shipping, payment method and notes. The customer is matched or created automatically.
Customers
Matching by email or phone, creating new customers in Priority and updating details. B2B customers can have their own price list and payment terms.
Invoices and status
The invoice is created in Priority and sent to the customer or attached to the order; delivery status and tracking return to Shopify.
How it works
Five steps, no surprises
From a short scoping session to ongoing maintenance. You know at every point what's being built, what's been tested and what's live.
- 1
Scoping: what connects to what
A short working session where we mark exactly what moves between Priority and Shopify, and in which direction: products and prices, stock by warehouse, orders, customers, invoices, shipment status. You leave with a short, plain spec and no surprises later.
- 2
Access and permissions
We set up a dedicated API user in Priority with the minimum permissions it needs, and a custom app in Shopify with exactly the scopes required. If you have a sandbox or test company, we build against that first.
- 3
Field mapping and build
We map SKUs and variants, price lists and tax, shipping and payment methods, then build the integration on our own service with logging and alerts. Every business rule you have - what happens when an item sells out mid-checkout, for instance - gets a defined behaviour.
- 4
Testing in parallel
We run test orders end to end, stock scenarios, returns and credit notes, and check that the numbers in Priority and Shopify match exactly. Only once everything reconciles do we connect the live store.
- 5
Go-live and maintenance
We launch with monitoring on and watch the first days closely. Later changes - a new field, another warehouse, a second store, a rule that changed - are an update to an integration that already exists, not a new project.
The technical side
How we connect to Priority
Priority's REST API
We work against Priority's official REST API (OData-based) on Priority Cloud and on-premises alike. Nothing is installed on your side - just an API user with defined permissions.
The SKU is the key
PARTNAME in Priority is the SKU in Shopify. Variants (size, colour) map to parts or by naming rules, depending on how your catalogue is built.
Timing and logic
Orders move immediately via Shopify webhooks; stock and prices are pulled from Priority on an interval you choose, usually a few minutes. Every run is logged, every failure raises an alert.
Edge cases handled up front
Returns and credit notes, cancelled orders, an item selling out at checkout, a mid-day price change, a manual order from the Shopify admin - each gets a defined behaviour at scoping.
More than one store
Several Shopify stores (brands, countries) against one Priority company, or separate companies - both are supported.
Other systems
We connect these too.
Same process, different ERP. Each one gets its own field mapping.

Shopify ERP Integration: Connector, iPaaS or Custom - How to Choose
There are three ways to connect an ERP to Shopify: the vendor's own connector, an integration platform like Celigo, or a custom build. What each one actually covers, what the official connectors leave out, and the rules that decide which you need.
Shopify to Shopify Plus: When to Upgrade (2026 Guide)
Most Shopify brands should upgrade to Plus when revenue passes $1M and operational limits start costing more than the $2,300/month fee. Here's the honest cost breakdown, the operational signals, and a 90-day migration plan.
Frequently Asked Questions
We're on Priority Cloud. Does that change anything?
No. The REST API is the same in the cloud and on-premises. On-premises only needs secure access opened to our service.
What happens when something fails, like an order that doesn't come through?
The integration retries automatically, and if the problem persists it sends an alert with the order and the reason. Everything runs through a queue, so any order can be replayed. No order disappears quietly.
How long does it take?
It depends on scope. Connecting stock and orders is faster than a project with B2B price lists and several warehouses. After scoping you get an exact timeline before anything is built.
Do we need our Priority implementer?
Usually only to create the API user and approve permissions. We do the mapping, build and testing.
Can we start with part of it and extend later?
Yes, and it's what we recommend. Start with whatever hurts most - usually stock and orders - then add invoices, B2B customers or another store as an update to the integration you already have.
Do you work with Shopify Plus?
Yes. Shopify Plus adds native B2B, company price lists and checkout extensibility, and we use them wherever they make the integration simpler or more capable.
